Working Well Means Living Well – Chair Yoga with NI Chest Heart & Stroke

A big thank you to Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke for inviting me to host an ‘Energising Chair Yoga’ session, as part of your Recognition Event for local workplaces involved in your Work Well Live Well programme at The Rabbit Hotel.

Funded by the Public Health Agency (PHA) and delivered by NICHS, the WWLW programme helps local workplaces to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees through personalised support, analysing the results of a health & wellbeing survey to determine health priorities and subsequently developing a bespoke, 3-year health action plan.

Workplaces from across Northern Ireland – including Survitec, The Consumer Council NI, CD Group, CITB NI and Manfreight – came together for the event on 11 March 2022 to celebrate their commitment to improving employee health and wellbeing.

We’d planned for me to host an Energising Chair Yoga session in person, but the dreaded COVID hit that week, and so I beamed in on the big screen alongside speakers including Money and Pensions Service, Vital Nutrition and Public Health Agency (PHA).

Despite the last minute shift to virtual, (or maybe because of it!), the session went down great with the participants, and I’ve had some lovely feedback!

I’m loving working with the NICHS team on some great events and initiatives, and looking forward to working together again soon :)

If you’d like to have a chat about online or in person Corporate Wellness, just get in touch.
