Queen's University Stay At Home Team Building Yoga!
I’m delighted that Queen’s University’s School Of History, Anthropology, Philosophy And Politics got in touch recently, hoping that I could help promote team wellness as they worked from home at this time.
Working from home has been common in many of the companies I work with in recent years, but never has it been more widespread, or more important to #StayAtHome, than during this current Coronavirus crisis.
The technology is great & work gets done, but some of the human connections can get lost, and during this worrying time, it’s more important than ever to look after our physical & mental health, as well as have a bit of a laugh connecting with colleagues and friends, while getting an insight into each others' living rooms :)
So that’s what the HAPP team and I will be doing over the coming weeks – looking forward to getting to know them all better!
You can see lots more of my Corporate Wellness work here & below, and if you’d like me to create a bespoke yoga or fitness class to help your team to stay healthy & connected while they work from home, just get in touch.

Corporate Wellness on the Fitness Belfast Blog
Had the best time at Decathlon Belfast last Saturday for their annual Play Days event. Hosting a Kickass Bootcamp workout for adults showcasing all the awesome strength training equipment on offer was my intention. In reality, so many mini Bootcamp Superstars turned up we shifted to playing head shoulders knees toes & cones & singing Lava Chicken from the Minecraft Movie instead!
At Fitness Belfast, we’re proud to support some of Northern Ireland’s most forward-thinking organisations in looking after their teams. One partnership that’s especially close to our hearts is with FinTrU, where we’ve been delivering workplace wellness since 2018.

Nestled in Belfast City Centre beside the site of the old Dublin Road cinema 😭 is Bankmore Square. The perfect spot for an al fresco lunch, an outdoor meeting, and for some TRX rowing, bench burpeeing outdoor Kickass Bootcamp fun as part of Bankmore Squares Summer Events programme.

“Working from home or the office - which one is better for you? Both set-ups present positives and negatives. What remains crucially important, however, is movement during the week.” - thrilled to have contributed to this Health & Wellbeing article in the Belfast Telegraph
At Fitness Belfast, we love helping teams discover how even the smallest movement can have a big impact on how they feel at work. Recently, we had the pleasure of partnering with AXA Northern Ireland for a morning of chair yoga and movement sessions in their stunning new offices at The Ewart on Bedford Street.
