Chickpea, sweetcorn and sesame burgers 🍔

Celebrate #NationalVegetarianWeek with these awesome chickpea, sweetcorn and sesame burgers 🍔

👌A perfect introduction to how simple vegetarian cooking can be.

Recipe:

🍴 Chop 1 large onion & 2 roasted red peppers from a jar.

• Add the pepper & onion to a large mixing bowl with tin of chick peas, a tin of mixed beans, sweetcorn & a teaspoon of cajun, cumin & chilli flakes.

🌹 Then add 3-4 heaped tablespoons of your favourite flour (I used wholewheat flour but almond, gram flour or regular self raising will all work).

😋 Add a sprinkling of nutritional yeast flakes, season with salt and pepper then bind together in your palms and make 4-5 burger patties.

🍔 Roll in some sesame seed to coat & pop in the oven for 15 minutes.

• Enjoy with some #avocado & lettuce in your favourite bun.
