Fitness Belfast + My PT Hub

For all my PT clients, I use an online and mobile app called My PT Hub, which allows me to create customised training programmes and track progress, as well as manage session scheduling and payments, making the admin for both my clients and me as streamlined as possible, so we can get on with achieving goals :)

I walk all my clients through using the app, but in case you forget, I’ve also created a couple of handy guides for using the apps most popular features – Credits, Packages & Payments; Booking & Cancelling Sessions; and Using Your Workouts.

I’ve shown all the functionality on a mobile device, but if you prefer, you can also use Fitness Belfast MyPTHub on your desktop/tablet - simply log in with your existing details here

These are the most common tasks within Fitness Belfast MyPTHub, however it’s just a snapshot of the functionality within the app, and you’re more than welcome to explore it further - you might even teach me a thing or two!

Fitness Belfast & My PT Hub – Credits, Packages & Payments

Within My PT Hub, you’ll be able to purchase credits, which will allow you to book into PT sessions (1 credit = 1 session). If you’ve already paid me via cash, cheque, bank transfer etc, I will ‘gift’ you the appropriate amount of credits. Either way, you can view how many credits you have available using the steps below.

Viewing your ‘credits’

  • In the app main menu (accessed via the three lines top left of your screen), scroll down until you see ‘Sessions & Credits’

  • Once there, click on the ‘Credits’ tab at the top to view your credit totals – purchased, gifted, and redeemed.

Buying ‘Packages’ (Credits)

To maximise your training & results, I work with clients in blocks of 5/10 sessions. So when you go to purchase credits, you’ll see that they are also sold in ‘Packages’ of 5/10 credits (equalling 5/10 PT sessions).

  • In the app main menu (accessed via the three lines top left of your screen), scroll down until you see ‘Packages

  • Choose the Package you want to purchase from the menu.

Once you’ve selected a Package, you’ll see it’s price, and how many weeks your credits will be valid for – in this case, 5 credits cost £175 and will expire if not used within 9 weeks.

  • Fill out your name, address & card payment details as directed and click the blue ‘Purchase Package Now’ button

  • You’ll see confirmation of your purchase at the bottom of the screen – ‘Package Purchased’

  • You’ll also receive an email confirming the Package purchased. (Make sure you’ve added emails from MyPTHub to your ‘safe’ or ‘approved’ list - so they don’t get lost in Spam!)

  • You’ll now be able to view your credits as shown above.

Fitness Belfast & My PT Hub – Booking, Viewing & Cancelling Sessions

Within My PT Hub, you’ll be able to access my calendar, book into your PT session & cancel it if something comes up.

Remember though, cancellations within 24 hours of a booked session will be charged, as per Fitness Belfast Ts&Cs.

Booking your PT session

  • In the app main menu (accessed via the three lines top left of your screen), scroll down until you see ‘Calendar

Once in Calendar, you can view Your Calendar (containing any already booked sessions, logged workouts etc), or your Trainer’s Calendar (that’s me! and it contains my available sessions).

  • To view your Trainer’s Calendar, click the small dropdown arrow top right of the screen, next to your profile pic

  • Select ‘Trainer Calendar

  • You’ll now see my profile pic at the top of your screen – you’re now viewing my calendar. Calendar information syncs live, so can take a second or two to appear depending on your connection.

  • Next pick the date you want to view available slots for. At the top of the screen it will show today’s date – click the small dropdown arrow beside the date to view a month overview, and select the date you want (in this case, 26 July 2019)

You’re now viewing my calendar for 26 July 2019. Calendar information syncs live, so can take a second or two to appear depending on your connection.

  • PT sessions are marked in blue on the calendar, and the session availability is indicated by either a 0/1 this session is available and you can book it or 1/1 this session has already been booked by someone else and is not available. (You can still ‘book’ it, and join the waiting list, but this will not add the event to your calendar, and does not guarantee your space at the already booked session.)

  • Select the available session you would like to book.

  • From the credits drop-down menu, select your available credits from Gary Milligan. (The number in brackets indicates how many credits you have left – if you do not have any available credits, you will need to purchase them before booking.)

  • Select the blue ‘Book In’ button to confirm.

  • You’ll see a confirmation message ‘Booked in!’ at the bottom of the screen.

  • You’ll also receive an email confirming your booking, and you will be able to view your booking in your calendar. (Make sure you’ve added emails from MyPTHub to your ‘safe’ or ‘approved’ list - so they don’t get lost in Spam!)


Viewing & cancelling a booked PT session

There are two ways to view your upcoming booked PT session(s), and if something has come up, cancel a booked PT session. You can do this via Events, or Calendar, as shown below.

Viewing & cancelling a booked PT session – via Events

  • In the app main menu (accessed via the three lines top left of your screen), scroll down until you see ‘Events

  • Here you’ll see all of your previous events, and current upcoming events, their time, date & status - Active, Waiting, Cancelled.

  • You can see more details on any event by clicking the three dots to the right of the event info.

Select ‘View Booking’.

  • Here you’ll see all the relevant info on your booking.

  • If you’d like to cancel this booking, select the blue ‘Cancel Booking’ button.

  • You’ll see a confirmation message ‘Cancelled Booking’ at the bottom of the screen. It will appear in your Events as ‘Cancelled’, and you will no longer be able to view your booking in your Calendar.

  • You’ll also receive an email confirming your cancellation, (Make sure you’ve added emails from MyPTHub to your ‘safe’ or ‘approved’ list - so they don’t get lost in Spam!)

You’ll see your profile pic at the top of your screen to confirm that you’re viewing your calendar. Calendar information syncs live, so can take a second or two to appear depending on your connection.

  • Next pick the date you’ve booked a session, and want to view more information on it. At the top of the screen it will show today’s date – click the small dropdown arrow beside the date to view a month overview, and select the date you want (in this case, 26 July 2019).

  • Select the blue booked session from your calendar.

Here you’ll see all the relevant info on your booking.

Fitness Belfast & My PT Hub – Using Your Workouts

For all my PT clients, I create customised training programmes and track their progress through the ‘Workout’ & ‘Activity’ sections of My PT Hub. You can view & use these workouts using the steps below – have fun!

Start Your Workout

  • On the home screen of your app, select ‘Start Workout’ from the main menu.

  • You can then view the customised workouts I’ve created for you by selecting the small dropdown arrow beside ‘Workout’

  • A scroller with your customised workouts will appear at the bottom of the screen, and you can pick the one you want to use today – in this case, Magnificent 7.

  • Once selected, click the blue ‘Start’ button.

Once you’ve selected your workout, you can see each exercise, the recommended repeats, weight (if relevant), reps and rest time.

  • If you’d like to remind yourself of what an individual exercise is, or the technique, you can simply click on it’s name with the small forward arrow next to it as shown.

  • Here, you’ll see a full breakdown of the exercise, a description, and a handy video which you watch to remind yourself of the technique used.

  • Once you’ve completed the exercise, you can ‘tick’ it off your workout list as shown.

Once you’ve completed all exercises, you’re finished! Well done! Select the blue ‘Finish Workout’ button to log it.

  • On your app home screen, you can select the ‘Activity’ tab to view your logged workouts, purchased packages and more.
